Mount Chapel is a friendly evangelical church. We submit to the Bible as the final authority on matters of faith, but we also desire to see the Holy Spirit move among us in power. Our services, therefore, include the exposition of the Bible and a considerable emphasis on Worship, where we seek God’s presence.

Mission Statement

The aim of our church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are voluntary, extravagant and whole-hearted lovers of God the Father, empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives that please Him, according to the principles of His kingdom.

Leadership

Mount Chapel is led by a team of four elders: Harold Holland, George Jones, Paul Laidler and John Ogden. We also have four young leaders and a team of deacons.

Community

Mount Chapel is a family-friendly church with people of all ages sharing a passion for God. We have a strong sense of community and have social events, home groups, weekends away and the occasional conference.
